The 4th (2023) Taiwan Recycling Economy Award and the 4th (2023) Taiwan Eco-Economy Award held by the Center for Green Economy are open for applications. This year’s awards include the Enterprise Award, SME Award, Product Award, Innovation Technology Award, Innovation Service Award, ESG Contribution Award, and Hero Award, according to a statement.
The aim of the awards, writes the statement, is to “uphold the spirit of sustainable management” and “encourage enterprises to make efforts toward sustainable carbon reduction and circular economy business models”. The ESG Contribution Award will be given to companies that meet the concepts of "green", "ESG" or "sustainability". All enterprises are invited to apply. During the early bird registration period until 15 March, all applications are half-price.
The awards follow the Taiwan Circular Award, which took place in November 2022. A total of 103 applications qualified to be entered for awards in the categories of Enterprise, Excellence, Product, Model of the Year, Innovative Technology and SME. The winning companies were AUO Corporation, ASE Group, Cheng Loong Corp., YFY Inc., Da Fon Environmental Technology, Taiwan Cement Heping Branch, Asia Cement Corp., Transcene, Tetanti Agribiotech Inc., JuTian Cleantech, InnoLux Corp., Taiwan Sugar Corp., Sinotech Environmental Technology Ltd., BYTE International, Horng En Group, Hao Sheng Industrial and Stonbo Creative. em
