- Comprehensive landscape design of the Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Waterfront Ecological Park with a total land area of about 1.35 km2
- Devise flood protection measures integrated into landscape design
- The project is undertaken together with China Design Group (CDG), Nanjing
- International design competition (Ranking: 2nd place)

Tasks / Responsibilities:
- Technical and design measures towards coastline protection: which includes protection against ccoastline retreat, the dynamic coastal landscape, flooding danger to the urban development that lies directly on the coast line
- Eco river design incl. protection against flooding, landscape design to take the challenge of back waters during extreme rain situation and landmark structure/s that remind the protection principles
- City proofing against flooding that includes sponge city concepts laid on an ecological network
